Elizabeth Tudor

BSc (Hons), Acupuncturist, Massage Therapist and Founder of The Wellness Point.

Hello, and welcome to The Wellness Point. It's been quite a journey to get here . I started my path into wellness when I completed a 2 year Advanced Aesthetics course at Camelot International in Johannesburg. The course covered all things beauty, as well as massage, aromatherapy and relexology. I graduated in 1998 with Level 3 diplomas from both CIDESCO and CIBTAC. Life has taken me from South Africa to the UK, to the USA and then back to the UK. In each place, I have been able to grow and develop my skills, blending a deep knowledge of the body with an intuitive touch to provide treatments tailored to each individual's needs.

I moved to Wetherby, West Yorkshire in 2015, and started to build The Wellness Point from my home, and moved into my current location in 2021.

Wanting to further my ability to support my clients on a deeper level, and so embarked on a 3-year BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York — one of the UK's leading acupuncture training institutions. As a qualified Acupuncturist, I am able to address health concerns by not simply relieving the symptoms, but by getting to the root cause of the disharmony. I see patients with a wide range of conditions, and have a particular interest in helping people manage stress and anxiety.

I am  a registered member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), which gives the assurance of the quality of my training and my commitment to ensuring every client receives the safest and most effective acupuncture and massage care in Wetherby.

I am passionate about providing a personalised experience for each of my clients, so whether you are seeking relief from chronic pain, a chronic or acute health issue, or simply looking to unwind and reconnect with your body, I am here to guide you on your path to wellness.

What "Wellness" means to me.

The dictionary defines wellness as "The quality or state of being in good health".

For me, to be well, to feel well, is a daily goal. When I feel "well" physically, emotionally, and mentally, it is easier for me to be happy. To smile, to feel joyous. But also, it is easier for me to manage the challenges life throws our way. I cope with stress better and tend to have a more optimistic outlook.

Wellness is achievable, it is a goal we can all be proactive in gaining. I believe the work I do with The Wellness Point, through therapeutic massage and acupuncture, enables my clients to feel that bit more "well", and I am grateful to be part of the journey with them.
